How to make sugar syrup (1:1 and 2:1)

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar for 1:1 / 1 cup for 2:1

1/2 cup water

Instructions:

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over low heat.

Stir gently until the sugar dissolves completely. Boil for a minute or 2

Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
